Saw her walking by like boom boom pow

Heart said "go," brain said "nah, not now"

Tripped on my shoelace, dropped my drink

Smooth like gravel in a kitchen sink

Tried to wink, ended up with a twitch

Told a joke — punchline? Totally missed

Said "Are you Wi-Fi? 'Cause I'm feeling a connection"

She said "Boy, you buffering — change direction"

I tried to shoot my shot (pew pew!)

But it backfired hard like a Nerf gone rogue

Tried to flex, but I pulled a muscle

And now I'm limping home in defeat mode

I gave it all I got (bop bop!)

But she just smiled and walked right by

Guess I missed my chance, but hey —

At least I didn't cry (okay, maybe a little)

Slid in her DMs like a penguin on ice

Said "Hey cutie," autocorrect said "Hey lice"

Sent a selfie — thought I looked all GQ

She replied: "Why does your face look blue?"

Tried a pickup line: "Are you from Tennessee?"

She said "Ugh, that's strike three"

I said "Wait! I've got one more trick"

Then sneezed mid-sentence — allergic to slick

I tried to shoot my shot (kablam!)

But it bounced off her vibe like a rubber band

Gave her flowers — turns out she's allergic

Now I'm banned from the Whole Foods stand

I gave it all I got (no cap!)

But she just sipped her oat milk latte

Guess I'm just a plot twist

In her rom-com kinda day

She's a ten with heels, I'm a six in Crocs

I'm the guy who knocks… over juice box

But someday I'll score, just not with her

Gotta practice my game... and maybe learn to flirt
