Behold

There was silence in the land, round the temple that day

The storm had passed over, the dark rolled away

We were marveling together, at the change in the place

When a small voice descended, from the heavens of space

It wasn't a shout, like the thunder or wind

But it pierced to the center, and it burned us within

Three times it was spoken, till our eyes turned above

And we saw a Man descend, in the power of love

Behold, I am Jesus, whom the prophets foretold

I have drunk from the bitter cup, now the promise unfolds

I have glorified the Father, taken the sins of the world

I am the Light and the Life, let my banner be unfurled

Behold, I am Jesus Christ

He stretched forth His hand, and

He spoke to the crowd

Arise and come forth was the promise avowed

Thrust your hands in my side, feel the prints in my feet

And know that I am the God of Israel complete
