Trying to get my mind off everything

So im playing this old guitar

till my heart bleeds through these strings

And I'm so numb it's getting harder here just trying to breathe

This'd be easier if i didn't give up drinking

I hope that you find your peace

I thought that peace could be me

I pray that this is easy

I know i wasnt worth it but damn did i try

I can't stand by here so badly hurting

or begging God for just another night
