Elohim, the three: the celestial kings

Beckoned one sleepless night by One of three

To ascend with He through the chambers of eternity

Brighter and brighter; ascending higher and higher

Until I stood before all three, the Elohim; I felt so unclean

I meekly begged a pardon for being undone

Teardrops dropping; my countenance wanting

I heard a voice so tender; it stirred the universe with wonder

"Behold! My Son, He is the One!"

Saints grew weary from sin so dreary

They have sought and have ever fought

For the promises made to your fathers of yesterday

For the eternal hope that sin's flaxen-rope

Would break away: thread by thread each day

Obedience and repentance; coupled with pure charity - you see

For blood they knew which was shed for all mankind

An Elohim

A celestial king

Blood of my Son, He is the One

Slowly, I returned; and to the Light I turned

Turned from my carnal weakness unto sacred holiness

One future day I will again ascend those chambers of eternity

Growing brighter and brighter; ascending higher and higher

Until I stand before three, the Elohim: the celestial kings

My eyes bathed with tears of joy rather than tears of regret

Gratitude for His offering: His eternal blood Atoning

And I'll hear a voice so tender; my heart growing fonder

"Well done, my friend."

"Behold! My Son, He is the One!"
