We’re all Dead

Remember these walls

Once pale like a winter morning snow

Now blood-stoked

Dripping from the cold

They collected the check

And fled

We thought we had known

But instead we were all dead

If they fled

It was accidental

But if they left their bodies

It was a tempt of fate

How does that give anyone's mind a break?

All of our youth is gone

All of our pride has died

All we did was try to survive

So we go on

We remember them for who they were

Not for who they were gonna be

They could still be around

But now they're in the ground

Wrong

That's what it should be

But that's what it won't be

But if they fled
