Used to be you could

Find me out on the town

I'd be pouring my heart out

For anyone who was around

I'd be drinking & screaming & crying, throwing money around

Trying to get out of my mind

Cause its not sound

Filling my days

With too much sleep and greasy food

Finding great big holes in my memory

And in the walls of my room

I left the campus

But I never quit my college ways

I held onto freedom

Like it was all I owned

I never really had it
