I visited Johannesburg prison early this year with a friend Jakie

It was my first visit to a female prison

And it wasn't a good experience at all

I came across young girl

She was about 18 convicted for a very serious crime

Her mom was around on the day

Tears running down her mom's face

I could see from the distance

The young girl trying to console her mom

I am guilty a long time in person is my punishment
