The Lord's Silent Night

I am glad the day is finally here

The prophets proclaimed from far and near

That I would be born on this night so still

To come to the world to do my Father's will

I am filled with love for everyone here

Who made this silent night so loving and dear

From the shepherds who with haste didn't tarry

And for my courageous and sweet Mother Mary

I will not falter and I will not fail

Because with God's power I will prevail

I'm ready to make my Father proud

The compassion I feel freely goes out

To the angels who proudly sang and shout

And to Joseph for being so wonderfully kind

For always having Mary's comfort on his mind
