Why do true Christians face such a fate?
Proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord
Many martyrs by this sword
So I believe in his truth, unspoken
A wisdom ignored, yet never broken
Your preconceived notions, minds closed tight
History urges us towards the light
Modern Christians often stray away
Normalizing sin in their own way
Twisting the Gospel, chasing gold
Profiting from the pain they've sold
