We've done it all before, no this ain't nothing new

Cuz each week Shabbos comes and we drink up like righteous Jews

I hear you asking for a taste of dry red wine

But now it's Kiddush time so you better get in line

A taste or two's a ride, and it's a mitzva too

We're making Kiddush, thanking God cause we're the chosen few

And then we pass around the wine so we can drink it up

Ain't got no cocktail, save that for fancy time

Cause now at Shabbos morning we'll be drinking Kiddush wine
