You raised me out of the rejection I had drowned in

Then held my hand and made the water into fountains

It's nothing personal, the novelty wore off a bit

It feels so silly 'cause you know that I still love you

But let me have my moment, my silly little moment

To scream into my pillow, roll down the window

In hopes you'll hear it from your house

Don't get me wrong, of course you're valid for your feelings

But my abandonment issues need some healing

I hope our therapists help us
