So now I'm 60, lying on my deathbed

"You should call someone," the doctor said

"It ain't right for a man to be alone

when he's lying on his deathbed."

I've had enough, I walked out the door

The stars had come out,

The air smelled like rain

I forgot what we were fighting about,

But I never saw my old man again

I have a son, he looks just like me

A smile I had worn

the day he was born

My old man wanna meet him, but I said "no,

you can watch through the hospital window"
