Bigger Than the Dust

Sun cracks open this hard red land

Boots hit the deck and I make my stand

I've been the bloke who'd bend till he broke

Carrying the weight of every town folk joke

But I'm done playing small just to keep things sweet

My voice hits the dirt like heat on concrete

Cause I'm bigger than the dust that's trying to drag me down

Tougher than the silence I used to drown

I mend the fences watching roos and rain

Help out the neighbours when they're doing it tough again
