I wanna tell you a story about a time

When my life changed, stopped it on a dime

Built a life actin like everything was mine

I was livin, or I thought I was, and everything was fine

But lemme back up, not the type to act up

Til I went to college I was wilin with that fafsa

Packed a, little somethin green and I believed that won't impact ya

Also liked to drink so much that everything went black uh

Nobody could tell me I was livin wrong I'm wayyy up

High off my opinion I can do whatever I want

Til one day my mama said let's get to church and pray up

That was when I met Jehovah can't forget that dayyy uh

I was gifted vision of the risen

And the vision vivid so I'm livin different

Livin on a mission and the mission fillin

Empty decisions so I'm out the prison

And the shackles gone

Once a slave but now I'm royalty

Had a master now i serve the king

Livin low but now it's G O D

I went from pushing a keg and pushin a gram to pushin the word of God

Now you see everything change not lookin the same. all cause a word from God

Who knew that God sent His son, who was the one, that's so absurd a thought

Now I see that it's the truth, ya boy made new, all cause my soul is bought!
