I run towards the light

I built my name on fading stone

Chased the wind but felt alone

Now I see what truly shines

A crown beyond the edge of time

I once held pride in all I'd done

The law the blood the race I'd run

But every gain I used to claim

I count as loss for Jesus' name

I let go of what was mine

To be found in love divine

Not by works but by His grace

I'm reaching for His holy face
