Forest Bathing

Sun knows how

To come out

Trees know how

To bow down to it

I walk through

Take my shoes off

Flip feet up

Now black soles and cuts

In toes

No shoes

Walking through

Sun knows how

To draw bones

Forward into the light and grass

Blood seed

Buried

Hide from the sun

In the garden grows a toe tree

Toes are sprouting branchy fingers

From a toe tree

It's a body

Face is smiling

In the sun heat

Crook of shin bone

Nook of nostril

Bird's nest hair cut

Belly bark rub

Rooted groins are

Poking plugs out

Bulging knot now

Sniffing wood snout

And its flesh is

All encrusted

And an armpit

Is a tree limb

Sun comes out
