Well I struck out

From town yesterday a brand new trail to follow

I listened to the birds and their chirps on the breeze

Stoked for a sunny tomorrow

All the rivers and the rocks and the knots in the trees

All garbled with gleeful abandon

But today I woke up with no wind in my sails

I'm tired in a timeless canyon
