The Dawn of Fire

Flames, flames, purifying flames

Take me from the shadows, eliminate the pain

Praying from the darkness knowing soon I will die

Let me burn so I'll survive

Anger and violence, grip me still this

Stalling and silence, makes me ill

I have waited forever for the chance to ignite

I will wait no longer, I will arise

This will not be the death of me

There is still the possibility

(Of waking from my dreams)

Claws reach from the black and try to pull me back

But I will feel the light

Waited for so long for transparency to give me clarity

But anonymity is worse than not existing

I can't distance myself from what I desire

I'll end this now and bask in the dawn of fire

We fear the light for we obey the night

We suffer darkness for we are paralyzed

From our emotions we are sterilized

Forever living inside a lie

This will not be the death of me

There is still the possibility
