I go out walkin' after midnight
Out in the moonlight
Just like we used to do
I'm always walkin' after midnight
Searchin' for you
I walk for miles along the highway
Well, that's just my way
Of sayin' I love you
I'm always walkin' after midnight
Searchin' for you
I stop to see a weepin' willow
Cryin' on his pillow
Maybe he's cryin' for me
And as the skies turn gloomy
Night winds whisper to me
I'm lonesome as I can be
I go out walkin' after midnight
Out in the starlight
Just hopin' you may be
Somewhere a-walkin' after midnight
Searchin' for me
I stop to see a weepin' willow
Cryin' on his pillow
Maybe he's cryin' for me
And as the skies turn gloomy
Night winds whisper to me
I'm lonesome as I can be
I go out walkin' after midnight
Out in the moonlight
Just hopin' you may be
Somewhere a-walkin' after midnight
Searchin' for me

Anyway, one day, I was in there in the lab workin' as usual, but
Subconsciously now, I was listenin' to that radio when, all of a
Sudden, I heard that voice again, and it absolutely stopped me in my
Tracks. Well now, they didn't say who it was, so I went and I got on
The phone, and I called the local radio station to find out. They
Said, "Well now, that was Miss Patsy Cline singin' 'I Fall to Pieces
'" Well, I want y'all to know, I got right back on that phone, and I
Called Hal Harris, the-the local disc jockey, right while he was on
The air. I said, "Hey, you play that song again for me," and he did
