I got a '95 Chevy sittin' up on blocks

She don't roll, she don't rock, she just grinds and knocks

Driveshaft's shot, U-joints toast

Thought I'd fix her quick—but I bragged the most

Laid down flat where the weeds grow thick

Face full of rust, and the floorboards stick

Wrench in one hand, torch in the other

Cussin' so loud, I woke my mother

I got rust in my eyes and dirt in my teeth

Hammer in my hand, wrench between my knees

A vice that slips and a socket that's cracked

This ol' truck fights back like a heart attack
