"Jack and the beanstalk"
Once upon a time in a country faraway was a boy called Jack
He really like to play
He lived with his mummy in a tiny house
They were both as poor as a little church mouse
Jack and his mummy also had a pet cow
But she'd grown too big and far too loud
"She should go to a farm" His mummy said
Jack grabbed the cow and off he did head
"This is boring" Jack grumbled and moaned
He had to drag palm cow along the road
Then a strange old man said "I'll buy your cow, here's some magic beans"
And Jack said "Oh, wow"
When jack got home, his mummy was not pleased
She yelled, "You sold our pet cow for some beans?"
She chucked the magic beans right out of the window
Poor Jack cried, and cried into his pillow
When jack woke up the next morning, he gawked
Outside, there has sprouted a giant beanstalk
It was huge and green and twirled up high
It whirled and swirled right into the sky
"Gatsewk" said Jack and started to climb
Climbing up the beanstalk took some time
Fluffy white cloud stuck to his hair
Then he saw a castle floating in the air
The big door of the castle was opened wide
So Jack decided to sneak inside
There was a humongous table and chair
And on a plate, the biggest ever pair
Suddenly, Jack heard a loud stump crash
He hid behind the door quick as a flash
A scary giant stumped into the room
"Where's my breakfast" the giant did boom
He picked up the pair, "Yuck, eat this lump?"
Then his nostrils began to twitch and jump
"Fe-fi-fo-fam, I smell the blood of an English man
I will eat you as soon as I can"
Near the table, Jack saw an open cage
In it sparkled something special and strange
A golden goose with golden feathers
Sitting on a gold egg, what a treasure!
Quickly, Jack slammed the front door
The giant saw him and charged with a roar
Jack opened it again and the giant ran out
Jack grabbed the goose "Got you" he did shout
Argh! The giant turned and charged again
Jack slipped through the giant's hairy legs then
He ran fast as lightening holding goosy tight
He dashed and sprinted with all his might
Down the twirly, wirly bean stalk Jack went
Sliding down, it's stem in quick descent
"Watch out" the goose did honk and skawk
The giant was chasing them down the stalk
Jack scrambled down all the way to the ground
He put down goose and look around "A shiny axe"
At the bean stalk Jack wacked
He cut the green stem until it cracked
From high above came an angry howl
The giant was trapped among the clouds
He held onto the stalk as it blew away
Nobody saw him after that day
Jack's mummy ran out and hugged him tight
He said, "I met a giant and won a fight"
After that, they always had enough money
And for breakfast, golden eggs with honey
