Eternal Flight

I've walked the fire, I've crossed the rain,

I've carried loss, I've broken pain.

Now the sky unfolds its door,

And I am bound to fall no more.

Wind of flame beneath my wings,

Every breath of freedom sings.

Eternal flight - I leave the ground,

No more chains to pull me down.

Through clouds of fire, I sail the sun,

The endless sky and I are one.

No horizon, no divide,

Only stars where souls collide.

Every tear, a trail of light,

Every end, another height.

High above - we rise, we stay

One with fire - fade away

Eternal flight - beyond the pain,

Through endless dawn, I rise again.

No shadow left, no mortal sound,

Eternal flight - where I am found.
