BAD DECISIONS

I got no reservations I got no second thoughts

I own my bad decisions, take the open shots

Never went to college got no PhD

But I'm the smartest man in this whole world

That's a guarantee

Cuz I know the days are golden

And I know the sorrow's true

When there's nothing we can do

I know the leaves are falling

I know the grass is green

I got no hesitation I won't capitulate

I'm the heavy weight champion of the world

Knocking out heavy weights

I've made some bad decisions but I got no regrets

All I got are roads I haven't traveled with you yet

Living in a trailer

Sooner or later

Well I wrote an average poem

Tried to call my mom

Drank a cup of truck stop a coffee

Read the book of Psalms

Cancelled all of my subscriptions

Found my wedding ring

Spend my life turning bad decisions

Into songs that I can sing

Oh I know the days are troubled

And I know the world's cold

But I know that God is turning

Every trial into gold
