God got me looking at what's in store

The pain brought me to a new place

That's where Satan thought he got Him

That's when you're feeling forsaken

But you never were forgotten

God got a plan for my family

Now that it's settled, I know who's my family

Yeah, I know who's really a fan of me

I know who's faking it—I see the frenemies

I'm glad I know where their heart is

In their words, I'm a target

Busy saying I left God

But in my heart is where God lives

So no, I've never been better

Praying for those left bitter

All of this pain—I count it gain

Took me to the next level

Boy, the pain was felt

Trust the process, what the cost is—

Something I could tell

Feels like I'm back at the start

At least I'm in the right direction

I don't think I would've made it

If I listened to leaders in question

Stuck on repeat—they were holding me back

I told the truth, so now Pharisees mad

Couple of times, man, I felt I would crack

But God is so faithful, He kept me on track
