Let me tell you about a misfit named Earl
Him and his friends
They all grew up on the same estate
Didn't have much growing up cause
The papers need paid
And Earl's mum could barely afford it
16 when she had him
Nearly abort it, her mind frame distorted
And before he was born
His life was nearly forfit
Cause they was just kids
Raising kids and when Earl turned 3
His dad planned to pick up his shit
And leave, and Earl wasn't conscious
When his father left, so he always
Grew up believing he was fatherless
And Beth didn't want him to believe
His dad was a deadbeat
Being a single mother at the age of
19 made her gain a habit of wanting
To be high, she was like an asthmatic
And she tried to hide the truth from everybody
But everyone knew that one day this
Addiction would turn into an overdose
Fast forward a couple years and Earls
Just turned 5, and Beth started going out
With some guy called Eli
A racist addict with a shaved head and
Tattoos on his neck, this only made
This addiction of hers get worse
7 years old Beth and Eli
Would argue a lot but this time this
Verbal altercation turn into a physical
Fight, Beth was left on the kitchen floor
Bruised and battered from both of her
Eyes, she started to cry and her tears
Ran red down to her thighs
What an environment to raise a kid
Earl began to hate Eli, but he never got
Taken away cause he lied to Beth
And promised he'd never put his hands
On her again, but this meant nothing
It just became another habit
Earls now double his age and Beth
Can't pay the bills, so he started picking
Up after his friends starting making a wage
At the age of 14 selling drugs
This life has him scared half to death
