Nights get long when the house stays quiet

Phone don't ring like it used to do

I learned how to sit with the silence

Learned how to breathe it through

I still feel the weight of the old days

Still hear echoes in empty rooms

But I don't chase what's already gone

I got miles left to move

I've been talking more to heaven lately

Than I have to anyone else

I don't know where this road is going

But I trust it more than myself
