But I walked out the wreckage when Jesus took my hand

Now I'm livin' with a purpose that I barely understand

They bring up my failures like a weapon they can swing

But all they're really hittin' is a past with no sting

I ain't chained to who I was that man already died

Now I'm walkin' in the freedom of the resurrected life
