In the shadow of a peppermint moon
A whisper crawled from the frozen dune
Built of laughter and children's delight
Now reborn in the dead of night
Buttons black and coal for soul
Carrot nose, but none too whole
He rose from ice, cursed by cheer
Dragging sludge and holiday fear!
Frostbitten fury, cold and mean
Sweater kids begin to scream
Deck the halls, he's breaking through
With sleigh bells soaked in shadowed blue
MERRY! DOOMSDAY! LET IT SNOW
HOLLY! HORROR! OFF WE GO
"Just a tale!" the grown-ups say
While he lurches down the sleigh-bell way
Frost on windows, breath in air
But evil's face has frosty glare
But the children knew, they always do
With candy canes and sleds they flew
A shield of cocoa, mistletoe rain
Their sugar-fueled battle began to gain
BOTTLES OF EGGNOG SMASHED LIKE GLASS
The zombie flailed-but would not pass
BACK, BACK, you cursed cold
We are the young, fierce and bold
Flee to your cave, up high and steep
Where holiday horror dares not creep
Candystorm rising! Lights ignite
Together we banish frostbite's blight
Now peace returns to jingle streets
With frosted smiles and cocoa treats
Though frost may crawl another year
We'll be ready, never fear
So hang the lights, the stars above
In fire and frost, we still find love
