3 Little Pigs - Chapter 2

The next night, the wolf was even hungrier than the night before

He saw the house of sticks, and he crept up to the door and called

"Little pig, little pig, let me come in"

"Hoo, no-no-no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin

I won't let you in" said the second little pig

As Percy hid trembling under the stair

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down" said the wolf

And he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew the house down

But the little pigs ran away as fast as their trotters will carry them

And they went to hide at Penny's house, which was made of bricks

"What did I tell you?" Said the third little pig

"It's not about who can build their house the quickest

It's important to build a house that is strong and safe"

But she welcomed her brothers in to keep them safe from the big, bad, greedy wolf

Penny had a lovely warm fire going in the fire place

And they all settled down for the night with a nice cup of hot chocolate

The following evening, the wolf was even hungrier

And feeling even bigger and greedier than ever

Prowling 'round, he came to the third little pig's house

He crept up to the door and he called

"Little pig, little pig, let me come in"

"No, no, no, not by the hair on my chinny chin chin

I won't let you in" said Penny firmly

While the first and second little pig hid trembling under the stairs

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house down" said the big bad wolf

So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew, but nothing happened

So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew again even harder

But still nothing happened

The brick house was strong and it was built well

The wolf was very angry at this point, and he was very hungry

"I'm going to eat all of you little piggies" he growled, "Just you wait and see"

He prowled around the house trying to find a way in

The little pigs trembled when they saw his big eyes peering through the window

Then they heard a scrambling sound

"Quick, quick" said the third little pig

He's climbing the tree, I think he's going to try and come down the chimney
