Tequila kickin' in, and I'm startin' to hear things

Shadows dancin' all around, I don't know what it means

Laughter in the dark, spirits work behind the scenes

I'll continue drinkin, gettin' blown to smithereens

Drinkin' from the bottle as I'm walkin' through the night

The whispers and the noises are givin' me a fright

I'm drinkin' so much faster, the bottle getting light

The shadow's getting darker, not a living soul in sight

A shimmer standin' in the mist is calling out to me

I know I shouldn't go, I know that I should leave

But I just can't stop myself, this sight I can't conceive

I don't think it wants to hurt me, that's what I believe

I hear the whispers in the wind calling out my name

Laughing and they're cackling as if it were a game

Something's callin' out to me, I look the other way

I wrap my hands around the bottle and chug it away

Something's warmin' up inside, the voices getting clearer

And the portal's comin' open, and I started walkin' near it

Reachin' out to me, I feel the presence from the other side

Now it's time for me to take a swig and join them in their ride

The whisper growing louder as I take another drink

My footstep's getting heavy and my body's getting weak

I try to fight against it, but then I hear it speak

Glowing red, eyes appear and then it says to me

You don't wanna fight them, those thoughts in your head

You know you want to kill and kill until everyone's dead

No need to be scared, I'm your buddy, I'm your friend

I'll be right there by your side until the very end

I shake my head and close my eyes, taking a deep breath

I don't know what this spirit is, encouraging death

But tequila's good for me, it helps my mental health

So I'll get another when I'm finished leavin' hell

Take another bottle offthe shelf and drink away

Pound it to ignore the voices coming from each way

Something's talkin' to me, but it's just another day

Somethin' in my head is all that I will ever say

Comfort and supporting me, the liquor's holding strong
