I was built for the wind and rain

Built for the fight and all the pain

The storm may come, but I remain

No matter what comes, I stay the same

I've seen days where it all went wrong

Still showed up and kept moving on

Didn't have much, but I made it last

Took my hits and left them in the past

I've been through hell, through the wind and rain

Been through the storms and all the pain

I rose back up when I should have gone down

Built my life from the lost and found

I fought my way through the darkest nights

And I damn sure ain't scared to fight

You can take your shots, but I won't break

I've been down, but I never stayed

Got right back out of every grave

Had to learn what's real and what's pretend

Cut some ties I'll never mend

I stood tall when the weight got real

Never once questioned what I feel

If there's a test, I don't complain
