I wrote the song with Ryan Hurd and Marc Tressel
I had the title "Take It Slow"
Mark started to play that guitar part that's on it
And Ryan started to spit that melody
And we just kinda started running with it
And we just tried to paint this picture of this night with this girl
It's just kinda this girl looking at you and saying
"I don't want this night to end"
You know, whether it be the car or the kiss or the night
Let's just take it slow
