I want to watch
Leaves falling down
They will return
For now they are tired
If the tree dies
The wood will be good
Easy to burn
So I'll build a fire
To take care
And prepare
The food that we require
I want to watch
Rain pouring down
While you're out of town
And the windows wide open
Soaking the floor
Beyond repair
All that I've left there
Is growing quite tired
And sometimes
A good sleep
Is all that is required
I want to drink
Wine that you poured
Laugh at my lonesome
And naturally smile
I'll clean up quick
What spills on the floor
The wood will be good
For a long, long, long while
